Alena Lavdovskaya will be showcasing works on paper and canvas focused on ballet and contemporary dance world—her passion for over a decade.
She took inspiration for this series from the backstage at the Dubai Opera during "Chanel" ballet, at the rehearsals of legendary Russian Bolshoi, Mariinsky, and Stanislavsky theaters, behind the scenes of contemporary dance performances in Switzerland, France, and Italy and of course during private sessions with her muses.
The artist is finally presenting the large-scale formats and begin bringing to life the idea of elevating her sketches from paper to canvases taking the art of capturing the moment to the absolute.
